Credit Reports
Review your credit reports
You can request a free credit report every year from each of the three national credit reporting bureaus. It’s a good idea to carefully read through your credit reports at least once a year. Look out for credit inquiries from unfamiliar companies, accounts you never opened and unexplained debts. These can be a warning sign of fraud or identity theft.
For your free annual report, go to AnnualCreditReport.com or call (877) FACTACT (322-8228). Or, request a reports directly from each credit bureau, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
If you have a City CU Advantage Checking account, you can request a new report every 90 days or upon receipt of a credit alert. You’re also protected with identity theft monitoring and resolution services.
